Carmel received her law degree from Southwestern University School of Law.

Prior to her law career, Carmel worked with Bank of America as a Corporate Lending Officer and eventually as Regional Manager for Bank of America Visa/Mastercard Division.She extensive experience as an intern and extern in the Bankruptcy Court system. Carmel is admitted to practice in all Districts in California, including the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of California.

She has provided pro bono services to the San Fernando Valley Neighborhood Legal Service, the Van Nuys Self Help Desk, and continues to assist indigent clients through the Los Angeles Public Counsel Program.

Ms. Carmel has unparalleled experience protecting consumers and small businesses using both bankruptcy and loss mitigation strategies, including loan modification, short sales, and debt negotiations.
